I, not the events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I am going to be happy in it.  - Groucho Marx

DIY: Peter Pan Collar

Gather up your belongings and let's begin....
{Download the collar pattern I used here}

Step 1.

Trace the collar pattern on to a piece of felt paper {fold in half first} with a sharpie.
It should look like this after you've traced and cut it out.

Step 2.

Put your glue down on the felt paper and start to add the pearls.
I outlined the edges with the bigger pearls first.

Step 4.

Working in patches add pearls to the entire surface to completely cover the collar pattern. Let dry overnight and then glue on two pieces of ribbon on the back of the collar.
Let dry completely for another day.

The end result!

Head over to The Weekend Diary to see how I styled this Peter Pan Collar for a Holiday Party.
Tis the season for giving, make this for a friend to give as a Christmas present or wear it to your Holiday Party! How would you style this Peter Pan Collar?

Have a great week Everyone!

Airport Attire

TOMS shoes {$50} | American Eagle Jeans {$17} | Gap sweater, recent {$15}

This was my travel attire last week when I visited my family for Thanksgiving.
I usually stray away from wearing jeans on an airplane, but if they are really comfy why not? For an easy on and off shoe, TOMS are perfect. Am I the only one that likes to look 'cute' when traveling (especially if I'll be at the airport)? Do you have a go to outfit for traveling?

P.S. Head over to the The Weekend Diary on Monday for a Holiday look.

Happy December Everyone!
