As many of you already know, I created a YouTube channel to spread love, awareness, inspiration, consciousness and most of all the importance of living a passionate life! If you haven't seen any of videos or don't know about my channel, you can watch and subscribe {here}.

In today's video I talk about why I started a Youtube channel, overcoming fear and expressing yourself!

Q + A

Circa 2010 at the "Bean" in Chicago

I was tagged by Ritika from the blog Rising Colors to answer some questions on receiving the Liebster Award. I thought it'd be fun to share some things about myself. Feel free to answer the questions, I tag you!

Q: What is your all-time favorite movie?
A: I just can't pick one so I'll name a few in no particular order. 3 Idiots, Forrest Gump and She's the Man.

Q: What do you do to keep fit?
A: I eat a clean diet {gluten-free, dairy free, no processed sugar}, run and weight train. Its about treating your body with respect and listening to its needs. If you don't take care of your body, then where will you live?

Q: What is one skill or hobby you've always wanted to learn?
A: Calligraphy, I practice it on and off, but I want to get really good at it.

Q: What quality do you find most attractive in others?
A: Compassion, seeing everything with an open heart and open mind.

Q: If you had a magic lamp, what would you wish for?
A: To be in Santorini, Greece soaking up the sun!

Q: If you have some spare time what do you do?
A: Meditate, read or go for a walk.

Q: Are you a planner? Or are you spontaneous?
A: In between a planner and spontaneous. I like structure with an ample amount of free-spiritedness.

Q: What meal or dish do you make that kicks ass?
A: I think any indian food {maybe chole}

Q: What's something you regret, and how would you change it if you could?
A: I live without regrets, everything happens for a reason. When you can make peace with what is, the more you can focus on all the good in your life.

Q: If any character from a novel could be your best friend, who would you want it to be and why?
A: I don't read novels, so I'll pick a Disney Movie and it would be Princess Jasmine because she is confident in who she is and fully expresses herself :)

Q: Which 3 blogs do you read everyday?
A: The Pink PeoniesBrooklyn Blonde and Kendi Everyday

Thanks for reading. Have a great weekend!

Sweater Weather

H&M sweater // Bongo jeans (really old) // Forever 21 loafers

These white jeans are from when I was 14 years old. I can't believe they fit and still look spanking new!  This color combo screams holiday season to me. Are you in the holiday spirit yet?

Happy Friday & have a good weekend all you beautiful people!

Fall into Autumn

H&M jeans // Old Navy booties // Forever 21 tank top & cardigan // Necklace via Tjmaxx // H&M hat

Crisp fresh air swept the terrain like a windstorm caught in a love affair. The encounter was like a beautiful melody of easiness and vivid eye-catching colors. They danced, swayed and even stole each others words. Together, bonded, they faded into winter because Fall fell into Autumn.

How is Autumn treating you?

Collegiate

American Eagle jeans // Target sweatshirt {$7} // Forever 21 chambray // American Eagle booties

I have been loving simple sweatshirts to wear with jeans, booties or even sneakers. I will be living in them all winter long. Not to mention they are perfect for a day of travel. What is your cozy winter must have?

Autumn Red

I am currently on the east coast visiting my family and the fall colors are breath taking here. It's my absolute favorite time of the year...scarves, boots, hot tea, fireplaces and a good book!
