Fall is Back

American Eagle jeans // H&M boots // Gap top // Christian Dior cardigan (thirfted) // Zara scarf

This is my first outfit post since June! I've been more inspired to get back into photographing what I am wearing. Since late last week, the temperatures have drastically dropped and Fall is officially on the way. Summer has fallen into the arms of Autumn!

This weekend has been low key as I take a break from a hard week of running. I ran over 10 miles last week! I am so proud and impressed with myself. We won't know what we are capable of until we try! So if there is something you've been wanting to do, give it a go!

Have an amazing rest of the weekend!

Sea Side Living

Imagine living here. Waking up to a cool ocean breeze, the sounds of the waves crashing on the beach and warm glowing light peaking in as the day begins. You would start your morning off with a hot tea and a stroll on the beach. Picking a spot on the sand, listening to the waves as you sip your hot tea. You'd spend the day reading a book, going for a beach run, collecting sea shells, taking long deep breathes, enjoying a fresh crisp meal of watermelon, cloud gazing and prepping a beautiful dinner to enjoy by candlelight as you watch the sunset! The house would be filled with treasures found on the beach, vintage pieces, beautiful art, tons of green plants and books upon books! I'll have that!

Wishing you a beautiful weekend! I hope you'll take the time to unwind and soak in the sun as summer slowly begins to slip away.

Vegan Coleslaw

I went vegan earlier this year full-time, as in I was only a part-time vegan before. After doing much research, learning about how our bodies work, how food digests and my deep connection to animals and to the planet. It was the best choice to make for everyone's well-being. What you do for yourself, you do for another. We are all ONE.

In this video I share a recipe for vegan coleslaw. Its yummy, crispy, light, healthy (not just sorta healthy) and no animals were harmed in the process which is amazing!

Vegetables:
1 head green cabbage
1 head purple cabbage
1 yellow bell pepper
1.5 cup shredded carrots
1 cup pea shoots (optional)
1/2 red onion
1 JalapeƱo

Dressing:

3 1/2 Tbs. Tahini
1 1/2 Tbs. dijion mustard
3 Tsp. maple syrup
3 Tsp. apple cider vinegar
4 Tbs. water
